RESUMEN
La preocupación investigativa principal versó sobre cómo a partir del movimiento agrario, las comunidades de estudio se apropiaron del espacio de los cascos de las haciendas y cómo a partir de esto, construyeron y constituyeron su comunidad. Es así que se presenta esta tesis que da cuenta de ese caminar investigativo.
Para lograr tal acometido, la exposición de resultados de la investigación fue organizada en tres grandes apartados: el primero denominado, ‘De hacienda a comunidad’. En éste se aborda el recorrido histórico de las comunidades de estudio, mostrando las formas en cómo éstas se constituyen. Lo que ahora son tiene que ver significativamente con este proceso histórico-social que han vivido. Las figuras de campesino y autoridad quedan signadas desde el comienzo histórico de las haciendas de tal modo que quedan comprendidas de manera panorámica las condiciones de constitución tanto de su bloque de pensamiento, como de su constitución como comunidad. De manera fundamental se aborda la importancia del tejido social y las maneras de enfrentarse al sistema económico que se vive. Éste presenta tanto el ser comunidad, como las propias luchas que se viven al interior de ella. Se muestra también en este capítulo, la institución de las fiestas religiosas como sus elementos cohesionadores, así como la relación de todo ello en la conformación de su patrimonial.
En el segundo capítulo llamado ‘Las comunidades en la nueva ruralidad’, se explica el impacto del sistema económico capitalista para la ruralidad y las comunidades en particular, incluyendo su patrimonial. Se muestra el papel que ha jugado y juega el Estado en ese enfrentamiento día a día de las poblaciones rurales ante un sistema que privilegia la privatización sobre la propiedad comunal. De igual manera, en este apartado se expone el impacto natural y social que están teniendo las de estudio por encontrarse en el corredor industrial del Bajío o la influencia de éste. Se presenta cómo en el día a día, no solamente lucha el campesino ante ese panorama agresivo y desolador, sino al interior mismo de su comunidad por la materialización que se ha instalado como forma de vida en las sociedades actuales.
Como tercer apartado se discute, ‘Lo patrimonial y la apropiación del espacio’. En este capítulo se muestran las formas en que las comunidades se han apropiado de su ex hacienda, así como la valoración que éstas le otorgan a sus permanencias. Se presenta la fuerza física-simbólica de la ex hacienda para San Nicolás de Esquiros y de los manantiales para Santa María del Refugio, así como las fiestas patronales para ambas comunidades. Se ha logrado aportar conocimiento en torno a la valoración y patrimonialización que pertenece a las comunidades humanas, independientemente de cualquier valoración institucional. Asímismo, se muestra el panorama difícil y complicado que tiene la conservación de su patrimonial ante esa problemática económica-social de las comunidades de estudio. De igual manera se presenta la importancia del trabajo investigativo basado en herramientas documentales y de campo desde una lógica de racionalidad teórica, que muestra por ello, la importancia del trabajo etnográfico y la recuperación de la memoria de los sujetos de estudio para la comprensión de sus comunidades, como para la propia comprensión de ellos como sujetos actuantes.
ABSTRACT
The research concern was on how, from the agrarian movement on, the communities being studied, took hold of the ranch and on how starting from this, they built and constituted their community. Thus, this way, a thesis is presented to explain the pathway of this research.
To achieve such goal, the exposition of the research results was organized in three main sections: the first one called, 'From farm to community'. It addresses the historical journey of the communities being studied, showing the ways on which they were constituted. What they are now has a lot to do with the historic-social process they have lived. The peasant and authority figures are marked from the historic beginning of the ranches in such a way, that the conditions for establishing are comprised in a panoramic way, both, of its block of thought, and of its constitution as a community. It mainly addresses the social fabric and ways to deal with the economic system that prevails. This presents both, the way of being of the community, as well as the struggles that take place within it. Also featured in this chapter, are the institution of religious celebrations as their cohesive elements, as well as the relationship pf all this in shaping their heritage.
In the second chapter called 'Communities in the new rurality', the impact of the capitalist economic system on the rural communities is explained, including its patrimonial. The role played by the State is displayed on the confrontation of everyday rural populations to a system that favors the privatization of communal property. Similarly, this section presents the natural and social impact they are having, due to being in the industrial corridor or its influence. It is shown how, day to day, not only the peasant struggles against this aggressive and devastating picture, but also inside his community due to the materialization that has been installed as a way of life in modern societies.
As third section discussion, it is discussed, 'The heritage and appropriation of space'. This chapter describes the ways in which communities have appropriated their former ranch, and the value that they give to their permanence. The physical-symbolic force of the former hacienda San Nicolas de Esquiros and of the water springs for Santa Maria del Refugio, is presented, as well as the festivities for both communities. It has been managed to provide knowledge about the valuation and patrimonial belonging to human communities, regardless of any institutional assessment. Likewise, the difficult and complicated picture that the conservation of its heritage has to the economic and social problems of the communities being studied, has been shown. Similarly, the importance of research work based on documentary and field tools from a logic of theoretical rationality, is presented, thus showing the importance of ethnographic work and memory recall of the subjects of study, both, for understanding their presents communities, and for their own understanding as acting subjects.
