Tres visiones sobre México

Abstract

La intervención educativa denominada “tres Visiones sobre México” es el resultado de una investigación sobre la educación y el arte, estudios que en su conjunto contribuyen a un tercero: la valorización e identificación del Patrimonio Cultural Mexicano por parte de los adolescentes en México. Siendo temáticas muy amplias, la tesis presenta un panorama de enfoques que dan solidez a la intervención, tomando en cuenta las diferentes perspectivas con las que la educación es abordada, la diversificación de términos alrededor del patrimonio cultural, el perfil del público objetivo, la historia del arte en México a partir del siglo XX, entre otros temas. “tres visiones sobre México” toma como pilares la vida y obra de tres artistas plásticos mexicanos, siendo Saturnino Herrán, José Clemente Orozco y Francisco Toledo, personalidades trascendentales en distintos momentos de la historia del país, transmiten su contexto de forma palpable en su obra artística, ya sea intencionalmente o no, se pueden distinguir elementos tangibles e intangibles del patrimonio cultural, proyectando un panorama rico en colores, tradiciones, costumbres, fábulas, historias. Artistas plásticos que transforman, retoman lo cotidiano para darle un valor, los elementos de su contexto se manifiestan como símbolos y aprovechan la paleta de colores para transmitir emociones; brindan por lo tanto, elementos puntuales a identificar. Son presentados a los adolescentres en forma de talleres, aprovechando precisamente esa cotidianidad inherente en sus obras para mostrarla como reflejo de la multiculturalidad característica de México. Estructurando el curso en cuatro talleres, de aproximadamente tres horas cada uno, uno por cada artista y un cuarto taller como reforzamiento de lo aprendido, involucrando al contexto inmediato del adolescente en la presentación de lo realizado en el curso ante sus compañeros, maestros, familia, etcétera.

The educational program called “three visiones sobre México” is the result of research on education and art studies that together contribute on a third matter: the valorization and identification of the Mexican Cultural Heritage by the teenagers in México. Being broad subjects, the thesis present an overview of approaches that give strength to the intervention, noticing the different perspectives in which the education is addressed, the diversification of terms about cultural heritage, the profile of the target audience, the art history in México from the twentieth century, among other topics. "Three visiones sobre México" takes as its pillars the life and work of three Mexican artists, being Saturnino Herrán, Jose Clemente Orozco and Francisco Toledo, transcendental personalities at different times in the country's history, conveying their context into works of art, whether intentionally or not, we can distinguish tangible and intangible cultural heritage elements, projecting a rich panorama of colors, traditions, customs, myths, stories, etcetera. Plastic artists who transform, they resume the everyday to give it value, context elements manifest as symbols and exploit the color palette to evoke emotions; providing therefore, specific elements that can be identify. They are presented to adolescents in the form of workshops, using precisely this inherent advantage in their daily work to show it as a reflection of the multicultural characteristic of Mexico. Structuring the course in four workshops, of three hours each, one for each artist and the fourth as a final reinforcement of learning, involving the immediate context of the teenagers in the presentation of the work done in the course to their classmates, teachers, family, and so on.
