Abstract

RESUMEN A lo largo de nuestra educación, se ha dado un lugar de privilegio a la enseñanza de materias como matemáticas, historia, geografía, entre otros, sin embargo, en esta investigación se considera que hay un vacío importante en donde se necesita integrar a las artes no solo como medio de expresión artística, sino como un mecanismo de desarrollo cognitivo y emocional desde la educación infantil. El objetivo principal de este trabajo práctico fue el analizar las distintas funciones que las actividades artísticas (como el dibujo o la pintura) tienen para diversos temas como: la construcción de metáforas emocionales, los procesos cognitivos, el desarrollo emocional y la adquisición de nuestro aprendizaje; para así, generar un taller creativo en el que se propone una metodología en donde se incluya una enseñanza más visual y significativa desde la infancia, pero sobre todo, se anima a que los niños tomen las riendas de su creatividad para explorar su mundo imaginario y construyan su propio pensamiento e inteligencia.

ABSTRACT Throughout our education, subjects such as mathematics, history and geography have been given a privileged place, however, this research considers that there is a significant gap where the arts need to be integrated not only as a means of artistic expression but also as a mechanism for cognitive and emotional development from early childhood education. The main objective of this thesis was to analyze the different functions that artistic activities (such as drawing or painting) have in relation to various topics such as: the construction of emotional metaphors, cognitive processes, emotional development, and the acquisition of learning. The aim was to generate a creative workshop that proposes a methodology incorporating more visual and meaningful teaching from early childhood, but above all, encouraging children to take the reins of their creativity to explore their imaginary world and construct their own thinking and intelligence.
