¿Por qué no se hace testamento en Aguascalientes?

Abstract

Resumen Este trabajo busca entender cuáles son las razones por las cuales se otorga una cantidad reducida de testamentos en el estado de Aguascalientes. Considerando que el testamento es una figura jurídica que da certeza, que es relativamente económico y sencillo de hacer aunado a que evita a futuro una serie de problemas familiares es que resulta inexplicable que exista una renuencia a su otorgamiento. Tomando como punto de partida las hipótesis con las que se sustenta la campaña “Septiembre mes del testamento” realizada por el Gobierno Federal en conjunto con diversas instituciones, se analiza si éstas se encuentran en concordancia con la problemática. Aunado a lo anterior se agregan dos más con las que se complementan. Lo anterior se realiza a través de una metodología mixta; la primera parte es a través de un instrumento con un enfoque cuantitativo exploratorio y la segunda con un análisis por categorías. Abstract This work seeks to understand the reasons why a reduced number of wills are granted in the state of Aguascalientes.
