Identidad y modos de re-existencia en clave Wixárika :

Abstract

Resumen En la presente investigación se propone recorrer las experiencias de tres mujeres wixáritari que salieron de sus contextos familiares y comunitarios para realizar estudios en la ciudad y que hoy viven en distintos lugares, con el fin de explorar, identificar y narrar a través de dos metáforas: la investigación como migración y las voces de las participantes como tejido; aquellos modos de re-existir que surgen a partir del encuentro con la otra cultura y de las diversas relaciones que ellas van construyendo, desde la familia de origen, con sus parejas, con ‘el costumbre’, con sus ancestros, con sus comunidades, así como entre su cultura de origen y la cultura occidental. Estos modos de re-existir se van develando a partir de las rupturas, tensiones, negociaciones y relaciones que se construyen, y se manifiestan también a través de algunos dispositivos como: la relación entre el tiempo y el maíz, la vestimenta, el bordado y el tejido, la preparación de los alimentos y el tejuino, la realización de jícaras rituales y el fortalecimiento de la lengua wixárika, a partir de los cuales las mujeres participantes viven y transmiten sus conocimientos ancestrales, incorporan en sus identidades ambas formas de ‘estar-siendo’ en el mundo y afirman su cultura. Abstract In this research, it is proposed to go through the experiences of three wixáritari women who left their family and community contexts for moving to study in the city and who today live in different places; in order to explore, identify and narrate through two metaphors: research as migration and the voices of the participants as weave; those ways of re-existing that arise from the encounter with the other culture and also from the various relationships that they are building from the family of origin, with their husbands, with ‘the custom’, with their ancestors, with their communities, as well as between their culture of origin and Western culture. This ways of re-existing are revealed from the ruptures, tensions, negotiations and relationships that are built and are also manifested through some devices such as: the relation between time and corn, clothing, embroidery and weaving, the preparation of food and tejuino, the making of ritual jicaras and the strengthening of the Wixárika language, from which these women live and transmit their ancestral knowledge, incorporate into their identities both forms of ‘be-being’ in the world and affirm their culture.
