Las consecuencias de la neumonía por COVID-19 en pacientes sobrevivientes no
es del todo conocida, además de tener una presentación heterogénea. Aunado al
daño pulmonar establecido por COVID-19, existen otras causas de limitación
funcional posterior a una enfermedad moderada o grave, sin embargo, no existe un
seguimiento estrecho en nuestra población. La siguiente propuesta se trata de un
estudio observacional retrospectivo que tiene por objetivo identificar a través de la
espirometría, las alteraciones de la función pulmonar en pacientes recuperados de
COVID-19 que fueron atendidos en el Centenario Hospital “Miguel Hidalgo” por una
enfermedad leve, moderada o grave representada por tomografía computarizada de
tórax.
The consequences of COVID-19 pneumonia in surviving patients are not fully
known, in addition to having a heterogeneous presentation. Moreover to the lung
damage established by COVID-19, there are other causes of functional limitation
after a moderate or severe disease, however, there is no close follow-up in our
population. The following proposal is a retrospective observational study that aims
to identify, through spirometry, alterations in lung function in patients recovered from
COVID-19 who were treated at the Centenario Hospital "Miguel Hidalgo" with a mild,
moderate, or severe disease represented by computed thorax tomography.
