Resignificación de la memoria cultural entre adultos mayores y adolescentes por medio de la quinta dimensión

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente documento expone la tesis de investigación cualitativa basada en el diseño de la quinta dimensión. La 5D es conocida como un modelo que permite realizar actividades flexibles a un grupo de personas haciendo que estas se lleguen a comprometer en las interacciones realizadas con los otros sujetos y artefactos que componen una actividad (Cole, 1999). Para fines de esta investigación es importante la creación de memorias culturales por medio de una actividad hecha en conjunto. Por lo tanto, se usó el modelo de trovadores, que pertenece a la 5D, el cual permite la creación de vivencias por parte de los sujetos que conforman las actividades (Lalueza et al., 2014). Para poder hacer la recolección de datos se utilizó una investigación de observación participativa en un taller audiovisual, donde los participantes tenían que ser adultos mayores (+65 años) y adolescentes (12-17 años) que formaban grupos combinados. Esto permitía poder hacer énfasis al objetivo general de la investigación, el cual es identificar los alcances que tiene la construcción de la memoria cultural a partir de las narraciones realizadas en los sistemas de actividad de la quinta dimensión. Los resultados de los análisis de los sistemas de actividad arrojaron que las memorias culturales individuales de los participantes se fueron modificando de acuerdo con el equipo en el que trabajaban y la participación que tenían dentro de los sistemas de actividad. Se demostró que ambas poblaciones pueden resignificar la percepción que tienen de ellas mismas y de sus compañeros. Esto ayuda a propiciar un mayor entendimiento mutuo y solidaridad entre las generaciones.

ABSTRACT This document presents the qualitative research thesis based on the design of the fifth dimension. 5D is known as a model that allows flexible activities to be carried out by a group of people, making them become involved in the interactions carried out with the other subjects and artifacts that make up an activity (Cole, 1999). For the purposes of this research, the creation of cultural memories through an activity done together is important. Therefore, the troubadour model, which belongs to the 5D, was used, which allows the creation of experiences by the subjects that make up the activities (Lalueza et al., 2014). To be able to collect data, participatory observation research was used in an audiovisual workshop, where the participants had to be older adults (+65 years) and adolescents (12-17 years) who formed combined groups. This allowed us to emphasize the general objective of the research, which is to identify the scope of the construction of cultural memory from the narrations carried out in the activity systems of the fifth dimension. The results of the analysis of the activity systems showed that the individual cultural memories of the participants were modified according to the team in which they worked and the participation they had within the activity systems. It was shown that both populations can resignify their perception of themselves and their peers. This helps to foster greater mutual understanding and solidarity between generations.
