Me debo adaptar a la vida

Abstract

La presente investigación parte del interés por las formas en que las personas mayores plasman en su discurso las formas en las que viven en su día a día. Estas formas se convierten en acontecimientos que permiten a los ancianos modificar las condiciones en las que viven y se desenvuelven en su vida, permitiéndoles alejarse de las formas determinantes de ser y vivir que han sido propuestas y establecidas por la sociedad y las aproximaciones científicas. Es a través de los pequeños haceres en convivencia que los ancianos van demostrando que aún se encuentran resistiendo a las fuerzas neutralizantes de la muerte y van demostrando su deseo por seguir ostentando el poder vivir al igual que los no-viejos. Para esto, partí desde una aproximación teórico-metodológica fundamentada en el psicoanálisis lacaniano y el análisis lacaniano de discurso, lo cual me permitió atender directamente a las voces de los actores principales, de los ancianos, y las múltiples significaciones que de estas se desprenden. Además, hice uso de la noción del acontecimiento, con la intención de abordar los elementos que surgen en el discurso y modifican la forma en que lo dicho refleja la realidad, permitiendo que nuevas realidades surjan. Los resultados que obtuve a partir de esta aproximación son que los ancianos se encuentran en una constante lucha de restitución de la vida en la tercera edad, una lucha que busca el reconocimiento de los otros ancianos y de los no-ancianos, con la intención de establecer un mundo con condiciones más igualitarias para ellos, pero sin destruir el mundo previo, es decir, es un intento por adaptar el mundo previo a las nuevas condiciones que ellos proponen para vivir.

This research is based on an interest in the ways in which older people reflect in their discourse the ways in which they live in their day-to-day lives. These forms become events that allow the elderly to modify the conditions in which they live and develop in their lives, allowing them to move away from the determining forms of being and living that have been proposed and established by society and scientific approaches. It is through small acts of living together that the elderly are demonstrating that they are still resisting the neutralizing forces of death and are showing their desire to continue to be able to live like the non-elderly. For this, I started from a theoretical-methodological approach based on the Lacanian psychoanalysis and the Lacanian analysis of discourse, which allowed me to attend directly to the voices of the main actors, of the elderly, and the multiple meanings that are derived from them. In addition, I made use of the notion of the event, with the intention of addressing the elements that emerge in the discourse and modify the way in which what was said reflects reality, allowing new realities to emerge. The results that I obtained from this approach are that the elderly are in a constant struggle for the restitution of life in the third age, a struggle that seeks the recognition of the other elderly and the non-elderly, with the intention of establishing a world with more egalitarian conditions for them, but without destroying the previous world, that is to say, it is an attempt to adapt the previous world to the new conditions that they propose to live.
