Historia del teatro en Aguascalientes durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX

Abstract

El objetivo de esta tesis fue analizar y comprender los periodos del teatro en Aguascalientes durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX así como las rupturas, continuidades y/o contradicciones históricas en su enseñanza. Identificamos el problema del desconocimiento sobre cómo se ha enseñado y practicado el teatro en Aguascalientes, sus etapas y las razones de sus cambios. Fue necesario realizar una investigación científica que nos permitiera conocer las fases y características a fin de comprender el cambio histórico en su práctica y su enseñanza. Las etapas que hemos reconstruido son: teatro amateur, institucional, independiente, y la profesionalización. Para recrear los periodos históricos de la enseñanza y práctica del teatro en Aguascalientes durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX, empleamos las herramientas metodológicas siguientes: investigación en colecciones documentales (archivos públicos y privados); entrevistas etnográficas cualitativas de Valles; autoetnografía de Ellis y Richardson; imaginación sociológica de C.W. Mills en sinergia con el concepto kibbitzer de Eric Hobsbawm; Historia del tiempo presente, de Arostegui y Basagotti; Método de las Generaciones según Ortega y Gasset, Julián Marías y Luis González; y finalmente Cartografía teatral como enfoque epistemológico del papel de esta tesis como una pieza más del rompecabezas del teatro mexicano.

The objective of this thesis was to analyze and understand the periods of theater in Aguascalientes during the second half of the twentieth century, as well as ruptures, continuities and/or historical contradictions in its teaching. We identify the problem of unawareness about how theater has been taught and practiced in Aguascalientes, its stages and the reasons for its changes. It was necessary to do a scientific research to know such phases and characteristics for understanding historical changes in its practice and teaching. The phases are: amateur theater, institutional, independent and professionalization. In order to reconstruct historical periods of practice and education of theater in Aguascalientes during second half of twentieth century, the following methodological tools were used: researching documentary collections (public and private archives); ethnographic qualitative interviews according to Valles; Richardson’s and Ellis’ autoethnography; Sociological imagination according to the postulates of C. W. Mills in synergy with Eric Hobsbawm’s kibbitzer concept; study of Present Time History agreeing to Arostegui and Bassagotti; scientific study of generations in the Historical method of Ortega y Gasset, Julián Marías and Luis González; and finally the theatrical cartography as an epistemological approach of role of this thesis as a mexican theater puzzle piece.
