Comparación de sensibilidad al contraste en miopes altos con anteojos y lentes de contacto a tráves de filtros estandarizados y con diferentes métodos de medición

Abstract

Resumen: Se realizó el estudio en 20 pacientes (40 ojos) con edad de 20 a 25 años, considerando que es la edad donde la demanda visual es constante tanto en visión lejana como cercana. Que acudieron a consulta a la Clínica de Optometría de la Facultad de Estudios Superiores Iztacala de la UNAM, con diagnostico de miopía a partir de -6.00D y astigmatismo hasta -2.00 cil; en los que se examino la sensibilidad al contraste en visión lejana y cercana con las pruebas de CSV 1000 y Hamilton Veale respectivamente, comparándola con el uso de corrección en anteojos, lentes de contacto, y tres filtro (ámbar, naranja y rojo de la empresa Carl Zeiss Vision, identificados por códigos). Encontrando que la sensibilidad al contraste en visión lejana en la prueba CSV 1000, en la región A (3) mejoró la SC con LC de manera estadísticamente significativa y el filtro que mejor se comporta es el F540 (ámbar) , En región B (6) no hay diferencias estadísticamente significativas mejorando la SC con LC y nuevamente con el filtro F540 (ámbar); mientras que en la región C (12) no hay diferencia estadísticamente significativa, sin embargo es posible observar que con el uso de Rx y filtro F540 (ámbar) se presenta una mejor SC. En la región D (18) no existe diferencia estadísticamente significativa, pero se observa que con el uso LC es mejor la SC en esta región. En SC en visión cercana valorada con la prueba de Hamilton Veale, no encontramos diferencia estadísticamente significativa, sin embargo la SC fue mejor con el uso de Rx y filtro F560 (naranja).

In the D (18) region there is no statistically significant difference, but it is observed that with LC use SC is better in this region. In SC in near vision valued with the Hamilton Veale test, we did not find statistically significant difference, however the SC was better with the use of Rx and filter F560 (orange).
