Riesgo cardiovascular y meta de colesterol-LDL y colesterol-NOHDL en el estudio Switch

Abstract

RESUMEN Calcular el Riesgo Cardio-Vascular (RCV) es la mejor táctica para orientar el control de los factores que lo determinan y reducir la incidencia de Enfermedades Cardio-Vasculares. Prescribir medicamentos genéricos para RCV se justifica si cumplen con estándares de eficacia, seguridad y tolerancia equivalentes a los innovadores. En la población estudiada, la proporción de pacientes en meta de c-LDL y c-noHDL de acuerdo a su RCV no difiere al utilizar atorvastatina genérica de esta marca particular (AG) comparada con atorvastatina innovadora (AI). En este contexto, el uso de esta AG no deterioró el RCV ni el logro de metas de c-LDL y c-noHDL comparado con la AI; sin embargo con la publicación de guías 2013 ACC/AHA el panorama sobre el empleo individual de estatinas se polariza aun más y tendremos que plantear estudios prospectivos que nos permitan establecer aun con más solidez la confiabilidad de AG en sustitución de AI.

ABSTRACT Calculate Cardio-Vascular Risk (CVR) is the best tactic to guide the control of the factors that determine and reduce the incidence of Cardio-Vascular Diseases. Prescribe generic drugs for RCV is justified if they meet standards of efficacy, safety and tolerability equivalent to the innovators. In the study population, the proportion of patients in target LDL-c and c-nonHDL according to its RCV not differ when using generic atorvastatin of this particular trademark (GA) compared with atorvastatin innovative (IA). In this context, the use of this GA did not impair the RCV and the achievement of goals of LDL-c and c-nonHDL compared with the IA, but with the publication of guides 2013 ACC / AHA the outlook on individual use of statins further clarified and we have to ask prospective studies that allow us to establish even more solidly reliability GA- IA replacing.
